Question 158 of 192

If two soap bubbles of different radii are connected by a tube,

Show answer and solution

Answer: (C) air flows from the smaller bubble to the bigger.

The pressure inside the smaller bubble will be more (Pi=P0+4Tr)\left(P_i=P_0+\frac{4 T}{r}\right)
Therefore, if the bubbles are connected by a tube, the air will flow from smaller bubble to the bigger.
