Question 185 of 191

Unpolarized light of intensity I0{I}_{0} is incident on surface of a block of glass at Brewster's angle. In that case, which one of the following statements is true?

Show answer and solution

Answer: (D) reflected light is completely polarized with intensity less than I02\dfrac{{I}_{0}}{2}

By polarizations due to reflection at a polarising angle reflected light is completely polarise and the intensity is less than average intensity I02\dfrac{{I}_{0}}{2}.
