Question 70 of 380

The equivalent resistance of the given circuit between the terminals AA and BB is :

Show answer and solution

Answer: (D) 1Ω1\Omega

In the question circuit the resistance of 5Ω5\Omega, is short-circuited, it means the new equivalent circuit will be,

⇒RAB=3×323+32=1Ω\Rightarrow {R}_{AB}=\dfrac{3\times \dfrac{3}{2}}{3+\dfrac{3}{2}}=1\Omega.
