Current Electricity

JEE Main level, single correct, medium

214 of 380

Question 214 of 380

The value of current in the
6Ω6\Omega resistance is:

Show answer and solution

Answer: (C) 10A10A

Applying
KCLKCL at point P,P,
V−06+V−905+V−14020=0\dfrac{V-0}{6}+\dfrac{V-90}{5}+\dfrac{V-140}{20}=0
⇒10V+12V−1080+3V−420=0\Rightarrow 10V+12V-1080+3V-420=0
⇒V=60\Rightarrow V=60
∴∴ Current in 6Ω=V−06=10A6\Omega =\dfrac{V-0}{6}=10A
Hence, option
3.3.
